A watchlist is where a scattered idea becomes a plan. Instead of reacting to whatever scrolls past, you decide in advance which assets you care about and watch how they behave over time.
Keep it small. Five to ten names you actually understand beats fifty you don't. Group them — a few large-cap stocks, one or two ETFs, maybe a crypto pair — so you can compare like with like.
Check your watchlist at the same time each day and note what changed. The goal isn't to trade everything on it; it's to know a handful of assets well enough to act with confidence when a setup appears.
